Pelar Banana Brand Identity

This was a project I took on in the start of the second year of my degree. I was very excited with this project as I felt I had a strong concept and a professional standard logo. The assignment was to Brand a one of three pieces of fruit commonly eaten in the UK. I chose bananas for I felt there was more I could do visually and more interesting. My research suggested that bananas were the more preferred fruit, commonly given by parents to children for healthy school snack. This lead to a campaign using the USP that bananas are easy to peel. I found certain smaller bananas are sweeter and even easier to peel, therefore my brand would market them. I found out a lot of information about bananas. For example if you cover the top of a banana, it will ripen less quickly, and prevent from going brown as fast. This lead to a idea concept. Overall a fun project, in which I like to look back on how far I have come.
